There is a new article out about Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke, and the filming of Twilight. It mentions some changes Catherine had made in the script so the movie would be more like the book also says a little something about some of the fans.

“Honestly, I was pretty flabbergasted,” says Hardwicke referring to the hardcore fan base. “I hadn’t really heard of the book until I got the script. But it didn’t take me long into the filming to realize they are out there.”

In fact, their zeal proved to be an incentive while filming in the rainy cold dampness of Portland this winter and spring.
“In a way knowing the fans were out there cheered us up,” Hardwicke confirms.

TwilightMOMS received the following message from KUTV channel 2 in SLC:

Stephenie will be on our noon show somewhere between 12:10 and 12:20.  If you could put a mention about it on your website that would be great!  She won’t be signing any books here at the station, but we are taking viewer questions to ask her.  The email address is noonshow@kutv2.com.  

We also received this idea from one of our members: 

KUTV (channel 2) in SLC will have Stephenie in studio on Friday (May 16th) for an interview on their noon show.
This station is right on main street and the background of their news desk is a big window on main street. Wouldn’t it be fun if we could get some TwilightMOMS out there with signs??

And don’t forget to watch Good Things Utah: Airs on ABC channel 4 with clips on their website around 1 pm MST abc4.com

 Good Things Utah- Steph will be on sometime during the hour long show.  The show is on from 10:00-11:00.  Stephenie won’t be the only reason to watch- One of our Twilight Moms Christina AKA Twilightedat42 will be doing the craft segment that day. Stephenie’s makeup will also be done by a Twilight Mom.  There are going to be TMs in the audience too.  Twilight Moms will be everywhere on Good Things Utah on Friday!!  Have fun gals!!!

Last night was the Arizona signing for The Host, and MANY MANY of our AZ TMs were there.

Can I just tell you, we had some CRAZY fun!Highlights include, but are not limited to:

*The Goat and his friend showing up

The Goat is kind of a joke that got out of hand and is now the AZTM mascot… And yes, that is me and I am fully aware that I am a huge dork…

*Having the entire gym sing Happy Birthday to Robert Pattinson.

One of our very own TM’s took it upon herself (read: was coerced into leading everyone) to have everyone sing to him… it was SO loud! You can watch it HERE.

*Meeting some adorable girls who were super excited to meet some TwilightMOMS and even asked to take pictures with us.

*And of course there was the actual Q&A (where Stephenie answered more questions than she normally does just because she wanted to) and the signing.
