 Library Journal has an interview with Stephenie Meyer about the Host.

What type of research did you do for this novel?
One of the advantages of fantasy is that research rarely applies. I created most of this world straight from my imagination. The main setting is the desert, which is home for me.

A representative from Summit’s Publicity Department just told us they are indeed aiming for a January release of the Twilight Movie in the UK.  However there are not “official” international release dates yet and until it is official it is subject to change.

Personally I am both saddened and relieved that filming of the Twilight Movie wrapped up over the weekend!

I could go on all day sharing all the wonderful experiences that were had during the filming of Twilight. It was one enjoyable ride filled with ups and downs along the way.  Our site has exploded with Twilight Fans anxious for anything related to Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight Saga.  Thanks to all the TwilightMOMS who endured rain & cold to bring us the pictures and stories we were dying to hear!

A special thanks to the wonderful cast and crew of the Twilight Movie who were always kind to all of Stephenie Meyer’s loyal fans!  We are looking forward to more articles, interviews, pictures, Twilight Tuesdays & anything else that will help us endure the next 7 months until we can see the movie on the big screen on December 12th!

And of course thank you to Stephenie Meyer for creating such a wonderful world of vampires and werewolves that inspires all of us!

So tell us what was your favorite moment from the Twilight movie filming?

The day we’ve been waiting for is finally here!  Fans in the UK already have the book, a few people have read the ARC and a few lucky people had their book delivered early…. But for the majority of us today is the day we have been waiting for!  TwilightMOMS camped out overnight in freezing weather to be near the front of the line to get tickets for the Utah signing! 

Our discussion forums are locked until tomorrow so get your book and get reading!  If you don’t have tickets for a signing get them today!

Timing. Twilight’s release is set for December, the time when the remaining movies vying for the Oscars are typically released. It’s also time for blockbusters to realize their potentials and bring home the cash. Are these types of movies Twilight’s potential competitors? Maybe. But Twilight’s set of audience is one of the most loyal and definitely one of the largest in audience share. Can the fans make a difference?

 Yes we can and will make a difference!  How many times are you planning on seeing the movie?  I for one plan on seeing it several times!
