WOW!  I am so behind on posting news these last few days.  It seems like every time I turn around there is something new…  and I only get about 1/4 of it in here for you all.  Luckily, I don’t think all that many people even KNOW we have a news blog yet.  So I guess its all good :) 

Anyways, there is an update on Stephenies webpage that is kinda fun.  

Steph was selected as one of TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People of 2008! It looks like all that voting really payed off

With a new month comes some new fun things for TwilightMOMS.

First, and most importantly our Charity of the Month, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

“The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. The Society’s mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Since its founding in 1949, the Society has invested more than $550.8 million for research specifically targeting blood cancers.”

Please stop by our thread about this charity and read about Robin Groff’s brave battle against Leukemia that sadly ended on April 11th this year. The thread can be found HERE.

Secondly take a look at our TwilightMOM of the Month, Shimmerskin! When Shimmerskin joined the site I used to follow her around just to read her posts. She has started some of my VERY favorite threads ever since discovering TwilightMOMS… which btw was when it was FIRST started Stop by the thread and give her some love HERE.
