Stephenie has updated her blog

Stephenie updated her myspace blog today with some information about The Host tour.  There are still some cities that have tickets available so QUICK like a cold one, go get yours already!!!  ;) She states that this will be the LAST BIG TOUR she will be doing, and if she is coming near you for The Host, it is unlikely she will be anywhere near you for Breaking Dawn. So… again… Hop to it and get your tickets!!!

The future of the Twilight Franchise and a new casting call

There is an article on Shocktillyoudrop.com that discusses the possible future of the Twilight movies.

The producer for the movie, Wyck Godfrey gives us a hint at some of his goals for any future movies that may or may not be made…

Please be aware that as far was we know Stephenie Meyer has NOT sold the rights to her other books. 

Also today, there is a new casting call out for a car…

“We are looking for a mid 90’s MAROON CAMRY or similar type vehicle to be in a scene for the film. This shoots TOMORROW (SAT. MARCH 29) in KALAMA, WA (about an hour north of Portland).”

Gil Birmingham cast as Billy Black!

We finally have a Billy Black.  It has been reported on numerous sites that Gil Birmingham has been cast as Billy Black, the direct descendant of Ephraim Black who was the last chief of the Quileute Indians.

An article in today’s Deseret Morning News discussed favorite LDS authors chosen by Mormon Times Readers.  Not surprisingly Stephenie Meyer is high on the list of favorites! To read the entire story you can visit Mormontimes.com.

Cal State Fullerton featured a review of the Twilight Book Series.  I think we can all agree with the concluding line of their article…  “With Meyer’s biting humor and painfully human experiences, “Twilight” is a guilty pleasure always leaving the reader thirsty for more”.
